MEDICARE PROVIDER NEWS BULLITEN The August issue of the Medicare Provider News will only be available on the Web. Providers will be responsible for visiting the Medicare Services’ website, for their state, to get the newsletter. For Medicare Part B, providers in Arkansas, Louisana, eastern Missouri, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, this will only affect your regular scheduled August newsletter. We will still create a newsletter for August; however, it will only be available on the Medicare Services’ website for your state. We expect the newsletter to be on our website before August 1. Please visit the Medicare Services’ website now and register to receive e-mail updates when information is loaded on to the site. This is a free service provided by Medicare Services. In our e-mail updates, we provide a small summary and a link to the information that you need. We realize what an impact this will have on provider’s offices. Medicare Services is currently researching all possibilities to provide a copy of the newsletter to all providers within our current budget requirements. If your office does not have access to the internet, please visit your local library for access. You will still be responsible for the information included in the newsletter. MEDICARE PROVIDERS Any Changes that have become effective since you have signed on as a Medicare provider must be reported. These Changes include such things as: 1. Clinic Affiliation 2. Mailing or Billing Address 3. Phone number 4. Use of electronic claims, etc... Please call Provider Network's toll free number 1-866-582-3251 to request appropriate paperwork.
